John Morton's Twenty Twelve returns to BBC2

Twenty Twelve Series 2 written and directed by John Morton

March 30, 2012

The second series of Twenty Twelve, written and directed by John Morton, returns to BBC2 at 10pm on Friday 30th March. The second series will be divided up into two sections, with the second half transmitting just before the Olympic Games.

We rejoin Ian Fletcher (Hugh Bonneville), who heads up the Olympic Deliverance Committee, as he struggles to deal with a myriad of new problems as The Games draw ever closer.

The first series was a huge critical success, transferring to BBC2 in July 2011 and picking up the Best Sitcom gong at the British Comedy Awards.

"Another perfectly judged script with superb performances, most notably Olivia Colman's PA. Solid gold stuff" Julia Raeside The Guardian

"far and away the funniest series on television at the moment" David Chater The Times

"Well observed, impeccably cast mock-doc" **** Gabriel Tate Time Out

Critics Choice The Telegraph
