Jon's first play The Wake won the Judges Award for Comedy at the National Student Drama Fesitval 2009 (Although admittedly it was the only comedy).
More recently his plays Phillipa and Will are Now in a Relationship and The Sexual Awakening of Peter Mayo had sell out runs at the Pleasance Courtyard at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and both transferred to Theatre503 in London to further success. He has worked extensively with Old Vic New Voices and was selected for both The 24 Hour Plays 2010 and the TS Eliot US Exchange 2011. His play The Spies in Room 502 won the second Time Warner Ignite competition and has just been made into a short film.
So far in 2012 he has been announced as one of the Theatre503 Five, he is taking part in the Royal Court Young Writers Programme and was one of twelve writers out of 3000 to be chosen for the Channel 4 screenwriter's course.
He's currently writing for Cartoon Network's The Amazing World of Gumball.
He received a distinction in Writing for Performance from Goldsmiths.
