Jon Snow is a writer and television journalist with over 30 years of experience in the field. In the 1980s he was a resident correspondent in Washington D.C. before becoming Channel 4's main news presenter in 1989.

Jon has reported from most of the world's hotspots and has interviewed some of the most important public figures of our time, including Nelson Mandela and Tony Blair.

He won the Royal Television Society for Presenter of the Year in 2004, the Richard Dimbleby BAFTA for Best Factual Contribution to TV in 2005, and Journalist of the Year at the Royal Television Society Awards in 2006.
