Jonny
Brown started out as a film-loving academic, studying at Cambridge
University's Fitzwilliam College and going on to gain a PhD in the
films and literature of Alain Robbe-Grillet.
His love of film led him into script editing for, among others, the
UK Film Council, Northern Ireland Screen, the Irish Film Board, Pathe
and DNA films. He also worked as a freelance trainer for The Script
Factory, teaching feature film comedy writing and script development.
During this time he began writing his own material and has now made the move to full time screen writing. In 2009, his feature City of Life was produced by AFM Films and filmed in Dubai.
