Joseph Wallace

Profile

Joseph Wallace is the author of many nonfiction books - including four on baseball history - and several short stories.

With the publication of Diamond Ruby in 2010 his childhood dream of writing a novel and seeing it published has come true.

Rather than spending a lot of time in libraries, he attributes some of his best research as the time he spends in his local schools, running storytelling and creative-writing workshops for elementary and middle-school students. He is always amazed by the joyful creativity of the students and feels he could never have created the characters of Ruby, Amanda, and Allie in Diamond Ruby without them.

Joseph lives with his family north of New York City.
