Julian Butler

Julian Butler is a comedy director, producer, writer and editor. 

In 2007 he joined Hat Trick North, where he devised, produced and directed the Channel 4 Comedy Lab Documental, directed Torn up Tales for BBC3 and developed numerous comedy, entertainment and factual shows. 

Previously Julian worked for Baby Cow, Channel X, and TalkbackThames, made various pop-docs (Fame, Set & Match for BBC2) and co-ran Smile Orange Films which produced a 16-part comedy series, Focus North.

Julian jointly runs indie company YouPigs and is one half of video mash-up artists Eagle and Feather.
