Julius Amedume

Julius graduated from the National Film and Television School in 2010, he attended the school on a scholarship from Toledo Productions. Julius's short film Lorraine premiered at the Edinburgh Film Festival and his first short film at the NFTS, Mary and John was nominated for Best Short at the Rushes Short Film Festival. Julius is one of eighteen students from the British, French and Polish film schools who have been selected for the Passion to Market scheme, on which he will work on developing his graduation film Precipice into a feature.

Before taking his MA at the NFTS Julius made several well received short films and a low budget feature, A Goat's Tail, which won the Best Feature award at the 15th Pan African Film Festival. Julius also has experience directing documentaries and music videos.
