Lewis is 18 and finished at St Paul's School last year. He has gained a place to study Anthropology at Cambridge University from October 2011.

While at St Pauls he has performed in numerous school productions including Flying to Nowhere, Andorra and The Visit. Most recently he played Stan in Don Juan in Soho and Ralph Clark in Our Country's Good. The school's GCSE production of Royal Hunt of the Sun was chosen as the best performance of the year across the country and was made into a DVD to promote drama in schools.

In 2008 Lewis received one of the top ten marks for Drama in the country at GSCE level.

He has captained the rugby first team on tour of Australia and is due do the same on a forthcoming tour of South Africa. He has travelled extensively in Asia and Africa taking a particular interest in African affairs, the environment and conservation.
