Lindsay Williams

Lindsay is an experienced, BAFTA nominated scriptwriter who started out as a storyliner and editor and has since clocked up over 80 episodes of prime-time TV drama. 

Credits include, Coronation Street, Emmerdale and Eastenders. Alongside this she has developed her own original material for TV, both comedy and drama, and she is currently writing a feature script with writer Peter Kerry. 

She also writes for radio and her play , Fiesta, will be recorded on location at Latitude Festival and broadcast on Radio 4 this summer.

Lindsay is also passionate about theatre and is a founder member of JB Shorts, a twice yearly festival of short plays penned by experienced writers which has been described as "An evening of funny, gutsy and inventive theatre" (The Guardian) and " One of the entertaining nights of theatrical entertainment one is ever likely to come across' (The Manchester Theatre Awards). The group was nominated for a MEN award in 2009 and inaugural Manchester Theatre Award in 2011
