Lucia Rae

I joined Curtis Brown in April 2011 as Jonathan Lloyd's assistant via a circuitous route. After reading English at Somerville College, Oxford, I was waylaid into consultancy before spending several years in legal publishing. I am now lucky enough to be assisting Jonathan with his extraordinary range of authors.

My personal interests lean towards literary fiction, with a particular passion for the twentieth century English novelists Patrick Hamilton and Henry Green. I also love American writing, especially Raymond Carver, Elizabeth Hardwick, Jonathan Franzen and Annie Proulx.
