Written by Peter Harness and based on true events, The Forgotten Fallen tells the story of Dr James Niven and the pioneering efforts of his team to protect the people of Manchester from the Spanish influenza pandemic in 1918.

Mark played statistician Ernest Dunks, who works alongside Dr Niven as they attempt to understand and contain the evolving virus while battling against the inertia and complacency of the local authorities in the face of an unfolding crisis.
