Martine McCutcheon is one of Britain's best-loved performers. After first rising to fame through her role as Tiffany Mitchell in Eastenders, she went on to record several top ten singles and starred in various television programmes and films, including the box office hit Love Actually. In 2002, she won the Laurence Olivier Award for her portrayal of Eliza Doolittle in the West End production of My Fair Lady.

Martine's first novel, The Mistress, was published by Macmillan in 2009 and debuted in the top ten of The Sunday Times bestsellers list.
