Matt King

Matt is an experienced comedy writer and actor. 

His critically acclaimed BBC2 series, Whites, based on his time as a chef, aired in 2011 and was described by the Guardian as "One of the best comedy debuts of the year" and by the Times as "a perfect example of the modern sitcom".

His new series, Starlings, an 8-part comedy-drama produced by Baby Cow for SKY1, is written with Steve Edge and stars Brendan Coyle and Leslie Sharp. It will transmit from May 2012 and is, in the words of TV Times, “A family comedy-drama of rare warmth, wit and charm ... this new series could have been dreamt up by a committee of magicians working on the recipe for TV perfection.”
