Meg Gardiner

Meg Gardiner is the author of a successful series of crime novels featuring the vulnerable but tough legal journalist Evan Delaney. Her series, beginning with The Dirty Secrets Club, features the skilled psychiatrist Jo Beckett. Her writing has been applauded by Stephen King, Jeffrey Deaver and Tess Gerritsen.

Born in Oklahoma and brought up in Santa Barbara, Meg previously practised law and taught at the University of California. She used TV quiz shows to pay off her student loans and was a three-time Jeopardy champion. Meg lives with her husband and their three children near London.
