I started my career in the editorial department at Random House in New York before moving to London in 2004 to do an MA in Modern Literature at University College London. I then worked in the rights department at Penguin Books before landing at Curtis Brown in October of 2007.
My taste in fiction tends toward the more literary but I love any novel that takes me on a journey of the unexpected. My non-fiction interests are best described as eclectic, varying from investigative journalism and memoir to fashion, humour and popular culture.
