Michael Booth is a travel writer and journalist who writes regularly for a variety of newspapers and magazines including the Independent on Sunday, Conde Nast Traveller and Monocle.
His first book, Just As Well I'm Leaving: to the Orient with Hans Christian Andersen
, was published by Cape in 2005. His second, Sacre Cordon Bleu
on training to become a Michelin Star Chef in Paris was published in
February 2008 and was a Radio 4 Book of the Week. His latest book Sushi and Beyond
about his family's food adventures in Japan, was published in May 2009.
He is currently working on a new book about India, entitled Eat Pray Eat
