Miranda Weiss

Raised in the Maryland suburbs around Washington, D.C., Miranda Weiss moved to south central Alaska soon after graduating with a biology degree from Brown University.

She later left Alaska to attend the graduate program in creative writing at Columbia University, where she received her MFA with a concentration in nonfiction before returning to her adopted home.
