Natalie Bailey

Natalie started out as an actress and independent film-maker in Australia before moving to London to work with Jo Sargent on Absolutely Fabulous and French & Saunders. She later joined Armando Iannucci’s SLAP unit and worked on a slate of hit comedies including the multi-award winning The Thick of It and Time Trumpet.

Her recent directing credits include BBC2's The Thick Of It and Sue Perkin's new sitcom, Heading Out. She has also produced and directed a variety of sketches for the BBC Comedy online site and Red Button channels. Natalie is currently in post-production on a new comedy, Quick Cuts, for BBC4, written by Georgia Pritchett and produced by CBL.
