Nathan Stewart-Jarrett leads The Pitchfork Disney
February 01, 2012
Nathan Stewart-Jarrett plays the leading role in the London revival of
The Pitchfork Disney directed by
Edward Dick at the award winning
Arcola Theatre.
Nathan plays Cosmo Disney – one of Philip Ridley’s most disturbing characters. Ten years ago something awful happened to brother and sister; Presley and Haley. One night, upon the arrival of Cosmo Disney, their safe isolation is shattered as he decides to confront them with the most frightening question of all - exactly what did happen to their parents?
Throughout the play Cosmo manipulates Presley and Haley with his strange tales of “showmanship” but it is not until the end of the play that his true motives are revealed.
This is Edward's second time taking on a Ridley play having previously directed
The Fastest Clock in the Universe at
The Hampstead Theatre.
The Pitchfork Disney plays at the Arcola Theatre from the 25 January until the 17 March.
