Neil McDermott proves his stature in Shrek

Former Eastenders actor Neil McDermott stars in Shrek The Musical, a stage adaptation of the Oscar-winning Dreamworks film, which follows the tale of Shrek and his loyal steed Donkey on an adventure to save beautiful Princess Fiona. Neil plays the evil and powerful (albeit rather small-statured) Lord Farquuad, who wishes to marry Fiona in order to become King.

Shrek The Musical is a funny, touching tale of friendship and romance, also starring Kimberley Walsh of Girls Aloud fame and Choice FM DJ Richard Blackwood.

Shrek The Musical will run at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane until the 21st October 2012.
