Nell Freudenberger

Nell Freudenberger's collection of stories, Lucky Girls, was a New York Times Notable Book and won the Sue Kaufman Prize from the American Academy of Arts and Letters.

In 2005 Freudenberger was the recipient of a Whiting Writers' Award and in 2007 she was chosen as one of Granta's Best of Young American Novelists. More recently, Nell appeared on the New Yorker's '20 under 40' list, a list of up and coming young authors.

She lives in New York City.
