Nessah Muthy

Nessah graduated with a First Class honours degree in Theatre Practice from Central School of Speech and Drama in 2010, she has since been writing for TV and the stage.

Nessah wrote episode ten for series three of Eastenders:E20, the episode was screened on: BBC2, BBC3 and is permanently available for viewing online here.

Nessah continues to write online fictional content for Eastenders, she is currently working on a new online project for Hollyoaks.

Nessah's award winning short play Freya and Mr Mushroom ran for three weeks in April 2011, as part of Hotel Confessions - a site specific double bill performed at the Bermondsey Square Hotel. The play was produced by The Building Site Theatre Company, in association with Southwark Playhouse. The show received critical acclaim, notably from The Observer.

In October 2010 Nessah’s first full length play, Kong, was commissioned for a rehearsed reading at Oval House, where it was produced by Kali Theatre Company.

Nessah's work has been performed at a number of leading new writing venues including: Hampstead Theatre, Theatre503 and Oval House.
