BAFTA Nominations 2010

The BAFTA Television Award Nominations have been released with nominations for The Thick of It, The Inbetweeners, Miranda, Misfits and the documentary Terror in Mumbai.
Miranda, the BBC2 comedy series written by and starring Miranda Hart, has been nominated in the Best Situation Comedy category. Miranda has also been nominated for Best Female Performance in a Comedy Role.
The Thick of It, co-written by Tony Roche, has also been nominated in the Best Sitcom category for the third series of the cult hit political comedy.
Series 2 of Iain Morris and Damon Beesley's The Inbetweeners, about the trials and tribulations of life at secondary school, is battling it out in the same Best Sitcom category.
E4 comedy drama Misfits, produced by Kate Crowe and starring Iwan Rheon and Antonia Thomas has been nominated in the Drama Series category.
Dispatches: Terror in Mumbai, produced and directed by Dan Reed, has been nominated in the Current Affairs category. The documentary, which aired on Channel 4, revealed the untold story of 2008's terrorist attack on the Indian city of Mumbai, in the words of its victims and the gunmen.
The winners will be announced in a ceremony on 6th June 2010.
