The Inbetweeners

Nominees for the British Comedy Award 2008 have been announced with The Inbetweeners, created by Iain Morris and Damon Beesley, scooping a nomination for Best New British Comedy and Gavin and Stacey, directed by Christine Gernon, receiving a nomination for Best TV Comedy of 2008.

The British Comedy Awards 2008 will be broadcast live on ITV1 and ITV2 on Saturday December 6.
