Broadcast Awards 2011 Nominees Announced

The shortlist for the
Broadcast Awards have been published with the winners set to be revealed on 2nd February 2011.
Rev, which stars Tom Hollander,
Steve Evets and a guest appearance from
Colin Salmon, is nominated for Best Comedy Programme in the Broadcast Awards.
Miranda, which was created and stars
Miranda Hart,
Adrian Scarborough and
Simon Farnaby is also up for the award.
New cult drama
Misfits , featuring
Iwan Rheon and
Antonia Thomas, is nominated for Best Drama Series and Best New Programme as is
Sherlock which stars
Mark Gatiss and
Zoe Telford
This Is England '86 also receives a nomination for Best Drama Series which stars Rosamund Hanson, Jo Hartley, Perry Fitzpatrick and Andrew Ellis.
Misfits also receives an additional nomination for Best Multichannel Award alongside
The Inbetweeners in which
Blake Harrison plays the character of Neil.
Horrible Histories is also nominated for Best Children’s Programme with
Martha Howe-Douglas and
Simon Farnaby starring in the hugely successful children’s show.
The Broadcast Awards will be announced on the 2nd February 2011.
