Curtis Brown authors feature in Waterstones Paperbacks of 2020
Waterstones has collated its top paperbacks of 2020 and we are delighted to see many Curtis Brown authors feature on the list.
Fiction-wise, the list kicks off with Agent Running in the Field by John le Carré, Sweet Sorrow by David Nicholls, The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes and The Things We Left Unsaid by Emma Kennedy. Heart racing thrillers including The Guest List by Lucy Foley, The Family Upstairs by Lisa Jewell, We Begin at the End by Chris Whitaker and Three Hours by Rosamund Lupton also make an appearance. The Booker Prize winning The Testaments by Margaret Atwood features, alongside the 2019 shortlisted title 10 Minutes 38 Seconds in the Strange World by Elif Shafak and This Mournable Body by Tsitsi Dangarembga, which is shortlisted for the 2020 Booker Prize. Fresh off the Sunday Times bestseller list is Victoria Hislop's Those Who Are Loved, amongst other bestselling titles including The Dutch House by Ann Patchett, The Secret Hours by Santa Montefiore and Fleishman is in Trouble by Taffy Brodesser-Akner. Rounding off the fiction titles is Abi Daré's The Girl with the Louding Voice, which was recently selected as the Waterstones Book of the Month.
Moving on to non-fiction, the list includes Rebel Ideas by Matthew Syed and Lisa Taddeo's Three Women. Lady Anne Glenconner's runaway bestseller Lady in Waiting features, along with Sandi Toksvig's memoir Between the Stops.
