Daniel Mays stars in Moonlight
April 13, 2011
Daniel Mays stars in Bijan Sheibani's production of Harold Pinter's play Moonlight which has opened at the Donmar Warehouse.
Daniel plays Jake, the eldest and estranged son of Andy (played by David Bradley) who refuses to visit his dying father in what has been described as a haunting exploration of the tragic and comic elements of family dysfunction.
Henry Hitchings has commented on how "the always excellent Daniel Mays brings a fierce physical intensity to the role of Jake" in his review for the Evening Standard, while Michael Billington has drawn attention to the "exceptional" performances in his four-star review for The Guardian.
The production runs at the Donmar until May 28th.
