Evening Standard Awards Long List Announced

The Evening Standard Theatre Awards long list has been announced. James Graham and Nick Payne have both been nominated for the Charles Wintour Award for Most Promising Playwright.

James was nominated for both the critically acclaimed The Whisky Taster and The Man and Nick for George Devine Award winning If There Is I Haven't Found it Yet and recent Royal Court hit Wanderlust.

Jeremy Herrin was nominated for Best Director for his work on Spur of the Moment which was on at the Royal Court earlier in 2010.

The short list and winners will be announced in late November.
