Film Rights Optioned to Naomi Booth's Debut Novel 'Sealed'

Film rights to Naomi Booth’s debut novel Sealed, her gripping modern fable on motherhood, have been optioned by Impossible Dreams (the Oscar-winning producers of Get Out and Blackkklansman).

Erin Richards, actress and director, will write and direct.

The novel, which was first published in the UK in 2017, was published on Tuesday in the US & Canada. It is with Dead Ink in the UK, an imprint of Cinder House Publishing, Titan Publishing Group in the US & Canada, and Audible have World English audio rights.

The Guardian referred to Sealed as “(an) accomplished, slow burning meditation on motherhood, pregnancy and love.”

Naomi is an award-winning writer and subject director of Creative Writing at York St John University. She has been commissioned to write a short story for Audible for Autumn 2019 and is also writing a new novel and collection of short stories.
