Hopscotch Features option rights to Dervla McTiernan’s The Ruin

Australian production company Hopscotch Features have optioned the rights to adapt Dervla McTiernan’s thrilling crime debut, The Ruin for film.

Hopscotch Features' previous on-screen successes include Disney’s Saving Mr Banks and Russell Crowe’s directorial debut, The Waiter Diviner.

McTiernan’s unsettling Irish noir has received huge critical acclaim since its publication in March this year and has been a bestselling title in Australia.
