Independent names Child 44 a Top Ten Thriller

Tom Rob Smith’s novel Child 44 has been named one of Ten Best Thrillers by the Independent.

The Independent describes Child 44 as having "...the pace and punch of a crime blockbuster, tackling the moral ambiguities of the 1950s Soviet Union."

The newspaper has released its guide for those "who have a penchant for things that go bump in the night..."
