Writer Jon Brown won Break-through Talent. The awards recognise outstanding talent in television, working behind the camera, who have excelled in the last year.

Jon Brown has worked on numerous hit shows including Miranda, Misfits and Mongrels, which he helped develop with the creator/director Adam Miller. Adam is currently shooting the second series of Mongrels and it will return to our screens soon.

Multi award-winning director Dan Reed picked up the Factual Director BAFTA for his documentary The Battle for Haiti. His eye-opening documentary exposed the daily struggle Haiti faces since the earthquake in 2010 allowed 4,500 hardened criminals to escape from the National Penitentiary in Port-au-Prince.
