Matterhorn wins James Webb Award

Karl Marlantes has won the inaugural James Webb Award for distinguished fiction. The prize is awarded by the
Marine Corps Heritage Foundation.
Each year, the Foundation presents a series of awards to both Marines and civilians, to recognize their exemplary work in advancing and preserving Marine Corps history. All winners receive a $1,000 prize and a commemorative brick along the Semper Fi Memorial Park pathway at the Marine Corps Heritage Center in Virginia.
Karl Marlantes will be presented with the award by James Webb at the Foundation's annual Awards Ceremony on the 16th of April.
