The Donmar Warehouse new season was announced today featuring Belleville directed by Michael Longhurst.
The play follows American newly weds Zack and Abby who have just fulfilled a dream to move to Paris. Zack works as a doctor and Amy an actress and yoga teacher. Their lives are romantic, successful and bohemian but as each layer of their world is peeled back they realize it isn't as perfect as they first imagined. The play is written by Amy Herzog and stars James Norton, Faith Alabi, Malachi Kirby and Imogen Poots.
Michael is an award-winning stage director. He directed Peter Shaffer’s Amadeus at the National Theatre, which returns for a second run in 2018 and the critically acclaimed Caroline or Change which is transferring to Hampstead Theatre next March.
