NY Times names McPherson 'finest playwright of his generation'

New York Times journalist Ben Brantley has called Conor McPherson 'the finest playwright of his generation' in a review of his most recent play, The Seafarer.

The Seafarer, which was a contender for the Evening Standard Best Play Award and was last week nominated for an Olivier Award, opened at the National Theatre in 2006 and is currently playing in Brighton.
