One Day wins Galaxy Popular Fiction Book of the Year

David Nicholls’ One Day won Popular Fiction Book of the Year at the 2010 Galaxy National Book Awards.
The awards ceremony was held at BBC's Television Centre in London on Wednesday 10th November.
Jilly Cooper’s Jump!, Antonia Fraser’s Must You Go?, Patrick Barkham’s The Butterfly Isles and David Mitchell's The Thousand Autumns of Jacob de Zoet were also shortlisted for awards.
Presented by David Baddiel, the awards showcased the best of British publishing, celebrating books with wide popular appeal, critical acclaim and commercial success. The awards ceremony was broadcast on More4 on Saturday 13 November.
One Day, published by Hodder & Stoughton, has been sold in over 25 foreign territories.
The public can now vote online for the Galaxy Book of the Year and the winner will be announced on December 13th.
