Richard and Judy, mainstays of British daytime television, have announced their 100 Books of the Decade. The list includes: A Place of Secrets by Rachel Hore, Adrian Mole: The Prostrate Years by Sue Townsend, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, Child 44 by Tom Rob Smith, Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell, Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell by Susanna Clarke, The Memory Keeper’s Daughter by Kim Edwards, A Most Wanted Man by John Le Carré, Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami, One Day and Starter for Ten by David Nicholls, Restless by William Boyd, Remarkable Creatures by Tracy Chevalier, The Road by Cormac McCarthy, Sister by Rosamund Lupton and The Observations by Jane Harris.
Richard and Judy’s list of favourites gathers together the essential must-reads of the last decade of literature. Richard Madeley and Judy Finnegan, best known for having hosted popular TV programmes This Morning and Richard and Judy, set up the Richard and Judy Bookclub in 2010.
