Sharing Stories at World Book Day 2018

Curtis Brown authors Tom Fletcher, Andy Griffiths and illustrator Shane Devries have joined the line-up of authors and illustrators chosen to pen titles for next year’s World Book Day.

One of the UK’s best-selling authors for children, Tom Fletcher will team up with illustrator Shane Devries on Brain Freeze (Puffin), a middle-grade story about a time-travelling ice-cream van. The pairs’ previous collaborations include The Christmasaurus, which became the biggest debut middle-grade novel of 2016, and their latest offering The Creakers, which is set to publish on 5th October.

Australian author Andy Griffiths will pen a new tale in his award-winning Treehouse series, Terry’s Dumb Dot Story: A Treehouse Tale.

The theme of World Book Day 2018 is Share a Story, encouraging adults and children alike to participate in the sharing and reading of stories. Join in on 1st March 2018.
