Shortlist announced for The British Book Awards 2018

The shortlist for The British Book Awards has been announced, featuring multiple Curtis Brown authors and agents. Now in its 27th Year, the prestigious awards recognise and celebrate the commercial successes of authors, publishers and booksellers in the industry.

Our author shortlisted for Fiction Book of the Year is Marian Keyes, for her most recent novel The Break.

Jane Harper’s thriller The Dry, is shortlisted for Crime and Thriller Book of the Year category.

Adam Kay is shortlisted for Non-fiction: Narrative Book of the Year and Publicity Campaign of the Year, for his memoir This is Going To Hurt: Secret Diaries of a Junior Doctor.

Kid Normal written and narrated by Greg James and Chris Smith, has been selected for the new Audiobook Book of the Year award.

In addition, Sheila Crowley and Stephanie Thwaites been nominated for Agent of the Year.

The winners of Author of the Year will be announced at The British Book Awards on Monday 14th May.
