McPherson, Norris and Cross are Tony Awards nominees

Works by Conor McPherson, Rufus Norris and Beverley Cross have all received nominations for this year's Tony Awards, winners of which will be announced on 15 June 2008.
The Seafarer, written and directed by Conor McPherson, has received four nominations including Best Play and Best Director. Actors Conleth Hill and Jim Norton, who were part of the cast in the original production at the National, have also been nominated for awards.
Rufus Norris's production of
Les Liaisons Dangereuses, which opened at The Roundabout Theatre on 1 May 2008, received six nominations including Best Revival.
The West End revival of
Beverley Cross's
Boeing Boeing that transferred to Broadway in May 2008 is also up for Best Revival and received nominations in five other categories.
