Biography

Nick Collett is a comedy director.

Credits include Chewing Gum, written by and starring Michaela Coel and Claudia O’Doherty's series of Blaps for Channel 4.

Nick developed his keen eye for visuals directing music videos and commercials, whilst his experience on the live comedy circuit honed his performance directing and ability to land a joke. Nick has directed many Edinburgh shows including Sam Fletcher’s Good On Paper, which was nominated for a Foster’s Comedy Award and had a sell-out run at the Soho Theatre.

Nick has a wealth of experience and is comfortable directing both long and short-form material (he’s shot season trails for Have I got News For You and VT’s for The Last Leg), as well as script-editing, development and live read-throughs.
