Mercury Fur was first performed in 2005 and is Philip Ridley's fifth play for adults. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, where gangs of youths survive on the adrenalin rush of terror and drugs in the form of butterflies, two brothers Elliot & Darren set up a 'party' for a city client that will allow him to play out his wildest violent fantasy.
