Open For Business: Bleak Old Shop of Stuff Returns To BBC2

Katherine Parkinson stars in Bleak Old Shop of Stuff, as it picks up from the Christmas Special and returns to BBC2 for a three-part series. Sarah Hadland, Blake Harrison and Gus Brown also star in the Dickensian parody.

Katherine plays Concepitva, wife to Jeddrington Secret-Past, who we follow as mysteries from his past come back to haunt him and his family.

Sarah Hadland, Blake Harrison and Gus Brown also star as – in true Dickensian style – Miss Tightclench, Smallcolm and Well To Do Man respectively.

The first episode sees Jeddrington team up with a new business partner, Harmswell Grimstone, a man who is not all that he first appears. Conceptiva is also troubled by a cryptic letter that perturbs her so much that she makes her way to End-It-All-Dock. 

Bleak Old Shop of Stuff airs on Monday 20th February 2012 on BBC2 at 8.30pm.
