Paul Angunawela is a writer and director whose talent was spotted by Screen International when they chose him as one of their Stars of Tomorrow.
Paul began directing in 1997 on a live show for Nickelodeon Television and The Paramount Comedy Channel. He also made award-winning music promos for Kiss TV and MTV Europe.
In 2005, the BBC asked Paul to direct his short film, Library Majnu, as part of the Bollywood Shorts Season for BBC4.
Paul has gone on to write several feature films, including his dance extravaganza, Blame it on the Bhangra, for BBC Films, and Keith Lemon: The Film, which he co-wrote with Leigh Francis.
