Biography

Peter directed five episodes of the fantasy action-adventure  Da Vinci's Demons season 2 and has returned to direct the opening and closing blocks of season 3 which he will also exec. produce.

In 2012 Peter directed Shetland, a two-part thriller for BBC starring Douglas Henshall.

Prior to this, Peter directed the opening episode of Vera Series 2 having previously worked on Series 1. Peter also directed the mid-season finale of Doctor Who titled A Good Man Goes To War. In August 2011 the BBC announced this episode as the highest requested programme on the iPlayer.

In 2010 Peter directed the closing block of Five Days II, the sequel to the BAFTA nominated original series written by Gwyneth Hughes.Peter also directed the opening block of Series 2 of Silk starring Maxine Peake and Rupert Penry-Jones.

Prior to that Peter directed Breaking the Mould a single drama for BBC4 about the discovery of penicillin starring Dominic West. Peter's series credits include Spooks, Mistresses and Wire in the Blood.
