Philip Gawthorne's play The Thrill of the Chase has opened at the Drilling Company Theater in New York.
The play explores a volatile, highly complex relationship
between two lifelong friends; the carefree, womanising playboy Charlie,
and the hard-working, timid Nicky, who share a stunning penthouse
apartment in the heart of New York city.
Philip's stage work has been performed at various American and English theatres. He has also written extensively for
the BBC and was listed by Broadcast magazine as one of the top ten young
writers in the UK 2010. Philip is currently working primarily in features
and has several films moving into production this year.
It has been produced by Mad Dog Theatre Company and runs until the 5th March.
