Dubbed the "art detective" by the media, Philip Mould OBE is one of the UK's foremost experts on the discovery of lost British art.
Working from a major West End art gallery, Mould and his team have been responsible for some of the most dramatic finds in recent British art history. Since 1988 he has been official art adviser to the House of Commons and to the House of Lords.
He is the author of two books and is a regular broadcaster, reviewer and writer for the national press. His television work includes writing and presenting the Channel 4 series Changing Faces, co-presenting BBC2's Antiques Show.
He is arguably best known for his regular appearances as an expert on BBC1's ever-popular The Antiques Roadshow, a programme on which he recently made history with its first £1 million valuation.
