Robert Evans

Robert Evans is a series creator and television writer. 

His BAFTA nominated teen sitcom Sadie J, for CBBC productions is is a smash hit with viewers and the third series began transmitting in January 2013. It went straight in to the top 20 iplayer listings. In 2012 the UK version was sold to Starz . It will air in 2013 and according to BBC Worldwide America, which brokered the deal, the format is quickly becoming a children’s classic around the globe.

Current original projects on his slate include comedy-drama Edge of Heaven with Hartswood for ITV1, Base 44, an teen adventure drama for Zodiak, Grounded for BBC Comedy and The Daltons, a comedy with Lovely Day for SKY starring Sheridan Smith.

He is also a key member of the writing team for Ruth Jones' hit SKY 1 comedy Stella.
