Set on Hayling Island in the early 1950s, The Late Middle Classes follows the story of young Holly (played at the Donmar by Laurence Belcher) and his piano teacher Mr Brownlow, charting the unusual and ambiguous nature of their close relationship.

Robert played Mr Brownlow, a solitary individual with a past that he's trying to forget.
