Rosie Dub's critically acclaimed first novel, Gathering Storm was published by Penguin in 2008, and has since been published in audio form and in the Netherlands. Gathering Storm is currently being developed as a feature film. With the support of grants from the Australia Council Literature Board and Arts Tasmania, she has recently finished her second novel, Flight, which will be published in January 2012 by Fourth Estate.
Rosie is also a structural editor and teacher of creative writing and journalism. She received an MA in Creative Writing from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK and is about to complete a PhD at Swinburne University in Melbourne. Her thesis, titled, Story: Mapping the Journey to Self, explores the role of stories in human evolution, their origin, their shape and how we use them.
